Car had set for about 5 months. Put a can of refrigerate in it work for a day or two then does not blow cold. Could it just need another can put in?

nope it's got a leak someplace will need to be leak checked and fixed.

Does this cost a lot? I am thinking about buying this car but live in south so really want air, I guess he put a half a can in it but like you am thinking its a leak somewhere just don't want to get into a lot of money.

check prices locally they vary allover, to leak check is about $100
