2002 cadillac deville DHS cut off due to no oil in engine, I added 5 quarts and it cut on for about 2 minutes then cut back off. What could be the problem?

How long did you run the engine with no oil? Was there any unusual noises? Do you have a check light on? Can you get a scan done?

No sure how lomg, I realized when it cut off on me and then push it to the side and checked, then added 5 quarts, no noises at all, check engine light was already on

OK, you will have to start with checking for spark, fuel pressure, injection pulse, check comps as well, I am presuming that the engine will still crank over on the key? I would also get a scan just to see what the fault code is, this may be important as well.
