Key will not fit inside ignition. I drove the car yesterday and there were no problems. I went to start it today and the key will only go about 1/2 way in. It's like something has it blocked. I have tried to turn the steering wheel and it is not locked.

Try turning the key over and trying, it probably won't work. Tap or bang on the cylinder and see if anything happens. It sounds like the cylinder may have come apart inside, and some tumblers have come out of place. There can be dirt, hard grease, and/or debris in it also. If it has come apart, it can be difficult to address as the cylinder has to rotate to be removed from the housing.
