ac heater blower won't come on

for a month now the ac heater blower would not always come on with the AC I would smack the dash hard or slam the door shut and it would start sometimes now no mater what i do it won't start. I also smell antifrezze on the passinger side and I have to add water about quart each month it is hard to change it out & can i see the hearter core when its out what should i pay for a new motor is it a dealer item only.
