Regal dash lights

2002 Buick Regal LS, the instrument cluster digital lights that show the mileage are not visible anymore, dealer said they would have to send it to factory for repair ( $300). What options do I have?

Hello. Go to youtube and print this question. You will find video for repair. But it is good if you some DIY soldering experience. All you need two resistors ( but I put some in parallel for long life) with price in Radio Shake $5. Need more help go: mgosh2001@yahoo. Com

Thanks MGOSH, I watched the youtube video and had to replace 7 resistors that were very loose ($.99 for five at the shack), had local electric repair shop do the soldering for me since they were so small ($20). Lights are good again.
