When started it makes a blowing sound from the engine compartment on drivers side. Once I start driving it goes away. My engine light is also on with a EGR code. I am going to take EGR off and clean as soon as I am able to. Just wondering what that blowing sound under hood might be. I looked under hood and couldn't tell where it could be coming from.
Thanks Mike

Best to start the car with the hood open and listen for the noise.

Doesnt seem like a sticking egr valve when you have egr low voltage codes. Do you have a scan tool that can read live engine data?

I have the Innova 3100f, I don't think it will read live engine data. I will get into the manual and see what it can do.

You will need to see what the egr valve reads with the key in run position?
