Ac blows out hot air. compressor was kicking on. Checked freon and it was at an okay level.added more to go ahead and to it off. Turned ac on and out ss the same problem. ac compressor kicking on but no cool air. About a week later turned ac on and more compressor won't kick on anymore. Any suggestions before I go and get another compressor?

You really must ensure that the correct refregrant charge is in the system, to much can be as bad as to little, get the system evacuated and re gassed with the exact charge and advise what you find with the temp and compressor.
