Does it change when you turn left or right? Does applying the brakes change it?

No, it sounds like it's a exhaust problem. When I accelerate it roars. I hear it the most when I press the gas, what could it be?

If it is the engine you hear, then it is related to the exhaust. It could be a bad muffler, intermediate pipe, flange between converter and intermediate pipe could be broken or leaking. The best thing to do is place the car on a level spot, in PARK, engine off, and the parking brake engaged. Then, you need to craw under and inspect the exhaust system for rust, broken components.

Do this when the engine is cold so there is no chance of you getting burned on a hot exhaust.

I looked under the car, the muffler is peeling and it's a small hole in the pipe right under the back passenger seat. It also has rust in a couple other spots. What's the best money saving solutions?

Are you able to install one yourself? If so, I would just go to the local parts store and get aftermarket parts. They are inexpensive for this vehicle.
