Which valves are the intake valves looking down at tops of the heads from front of car ? I've taken the push rods out and lost placement.

The intake valves are the ones that's facing the intake runner from the head-

Are you talking about the top of stem facing intake?

It's pretty obvious if you look into the port and see the valve.
