If the Service Engine Soon light comes on is it too late to clean the Air Flow Sensor instead of replacing it? Would like to save $600 if possible.

You could try cleaning it. What is the report that condemns the sensor? A good price is much less, $400 from Realoem.com for part number 13-62-1-432-356 or call John at autobahn (619)444-2290 & give him that number.
