Today, after replacing some fuses I accidentally removed the immobilizer fuse. When I removed this the car alarm went off and the lights turned off. The car will now not start (not even turning over) at all. Has the car become immobilized from removing this fuse and can I reset it?

If EWS is out of alignment then the car will need to be towed to a BMW service location for proper diagnosis and perhaps EWS realignment, it does not lend itself to being reset without special tools.
