2002 Audi A4 Radio Locked Safe Mode Dealer Cannot Reset They Advised Run Car 4

My radio is locked in safe mode and my Audi dealer cannot reset it. They advised me to run the car for 4 hours with the unit turned on to see if that would release it, but that hasn't worked.

If the dealer can't get it unlocked, then there has to be a problem internally with the unit.
