navigation system not working?

my navigation system is working only once in a while. It will work for couple days then go off for sometime. I have tried cleaning the disc but, no help. What might the problem be? When I clean the disc and reinsert it works sometimes. The navigation will come on for awhile and flicker likes the disk might be stuck but don't know. Checked the book to see if there is a fuse but the book does not say. Please help! I have a long trip coming up in December and need it to work thanks

More then likely the navi unit under the front seat has failed. When it is not working the circuit board on the unit has an open on it. I think the only way that is going to repair this is to replace that unit.

I attached the wiring diagram below and we need to test the wiring coming from the unit to the display unit.
