2002 Acura MDX ABS Braking System

The ABS brakes activate about once a day in slow or stop and go traffic and in dry weather? Why and what could be the problem. I this a problem resated to acuras? Been going on for about 2 years?

What do you mean by activate? You mean the brakes judders when it is applied?
Is the ABS indicator Light showing?

Brake pedel pulsates and the light does not come on. This is at slow speed in stop and go traffic only.

Have the brakes and wheel sensors checked. If no problems are found, have the modulator tested.

Had a customer with a similar problem. It ended up being the "steering angle sensor". It's really best to have a scanner that can view all the data parameters to check with. A technician can monitor the steering angle sensor to see if its changing according to the steering wheel position. In my customers case, there was a small piece of trash blocking the sensor internally. We could have just blown out the trash, but they decided to replace the sensor. I remember it being pretty pricey.
