what is a vacuum supply line for ldp, where is it and how do i replace it ?

well i took my car to the vw dealership because there was a problem with it having high rpms for no reason like it wasnt shiftin , they did a diagnosis on it and they said tht the leak detection pump vaccuum supply line looked like it had been glued together and tht i needed to replace it... then they told me how much it costs to do that and i figuered it i could just do it myself and save some money but i dont know where it is or how to find one.. please help me out

The LDP is located on the rear of the vehicle behind the inner fender (passanger side). Check for damage to the vacuum supply to it. It sounds like where the vacuum hose connects was broken and someone tried to fix it.
