2001 Volkswagen Jetta Car Off While Driving Lights Power Just Deadd Had Towed

the car goes off while driving,all lights all power,just goes deadd,had it towed ,local garage got it started,but last about 2 weeks,this has happened 3 times in last 2 months,do u know the problem,thanks, terry.auto trans.

Check the connections of the fuse holder on top of the battery... check for burnt or loose connections.

Make sure the battery connections are tight, as well as the other ends of the cables at the starter and transmission (ground).
