truck won't idle

I have a 2001 toyota tacoma 2.4 that will start if you have your foot on the gas but will not idle. Truck idled fine yesterday.

Clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens

Thanks Rasmataz, I did as you suggested as well as carfully cleaned the throddlebody and the entrance to the intake with carbcleaner. Put it all back just as it was. Tripple checked everything. Started it up and it idles fine now. But now the check engine light is on. It was not on before. Any suggestions?
