When I start out in (mostly) 1st gear there is a consistent knocking or tapping sound at first. It seems like once I am fully engaged in gear and rolling it goes away. Anyone have any idea what could be the cause?

could be something in the clutch or trans or it could be something in the motor like a lifter. has a shop listened to it to see if they know where it is coming from.
