What parts do I need to buy to fix catalyst converter on toyota tacoma 2001/ check engine light is on and fail code is p0420 catalyst converter below threshold bank 1 (5)

You need a new catalytic converter. Bank 1 is the driver's side. Once it is replaced, you also need to look at the oxygen sensor signal voltages and the fuel trim numbers to verify the fuel / air mixture is correct, otherwise the new converter could overheat and be damaged.
