Hi, my rear a/c does not blow cold in my 2001 toyota sequoia. What can it be? The front a/c is blowing cold. I took the R/R cargo panel off be the rear evaperator/heater core. I felt both pipes going into the heater core, they are hot. I felt the small pipe going into some valve (right before it goes into the evaperator, and that pipe is cold. But the pipe coming out of the evaperator is not cold at all.

Hello,

It sounds like one of two things is wrong either the system is a little low which affects the rear air first or the temperature blend door actuator is not working. Here is a guide to help you check the refrigerant levels.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/air-conditioner-how-to-add-freon

and this guide will give you an idea of what you are in for when changing the temperature blend door actuator.

This is what it will be like for your car (below)

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
