does a 2001 suzuki liana 1.3 have a timing belt or chain

Hello,

This vehicle is equipped with a timing chain.

Since the Liana was not sold in the US, we are unable to provide the replacement diagrams.
As for the replacement procedure, you will first have to remove the engine front cover to access it. Be sure to mark the sprocket of how the chain is lined up. It can also be helpful to take a few pictures as a reference.
It is important to have it marked before the removal of the old chain.
