2001 Suzuki Baleno Suziki Starts Good Put Drive Reverse Sounds Shut Off Car

My Suziki baleno starts up good but when i put it in drive or reverse it sounds like its going to shut off and the car has no power and not moving. what do you guys think is the problem?
