Just had a trani put in but got it back and it shifts rough the mechanic says it is because it needs a mount or brace ?? already did the top and bottom mounts

It only has two mounts for the transmission is the check engine light coming on?Is there a delay bang into reverse?Why was the transmission replaced whatwas wrong with the old ttransmission?
