Short In PDC

I own a 2001 L300 saturn ive had problems since i bought it there was a short in the main fuse box exchange main fuse box the the starter and alternator went out i changed them both out now the car start but wont go into gear,and my dash components are no lights on the dash or interior. none of my components work on the dash and my button on the shifter will not depress to go into gear?

Please help me :-)

The first thing i would check is if the parking light fuse is blown in the underhood fuse box.Have you checked all the fuses yet?
