My heater just went out on my 2001 saturn. Before it went out the dial to adjust from low to high kept getting stuck and you had to jiggle and play with it to keep the heater on. Now the dial works fine but doesnt blow any air whatsoever. Could you please tell me what this might be?

If the blower speed switch was getting stuck then you had to wiggle it to make the fan work I would say the switch was bad. But you have to check it with a multimeter to be sure. Do you have a multimeter to check it?

No but if the switch needs to be replaced do they have to remove the console or dashboard? Where is it located?

The switch is located right where you change the speed. To change it you would remove the radio bezel then the 7mm screw's that hold the ac/heater control in place. You do the same to access wire's to check the switch. Let's start with you getting a meter and then we can go over how to check the switch.
