My saturn L200 heater works in the lower speeds but turns on and off at the high speed. Can I fix this myself & how?

So it cut's in and out on the highest setting only?Your going to have to diagnose why it's doing this before you fix it. You will need a multimeter do you have one?

It doesnt cut in and out continuously. Often times it will work for a little while when I first start the car but shortly will turn off. I do not have a multimeter. I did ask a tech where I bring my car and he said it was a relay in the dashboard and qouted about $300. I saw some of your site answers and seem to think the relay is on the passenger side fire wall? If so, then what is this guy talking about.

Follow the trouble tree I posted I also posted a wire diagram that will help there having you test from fan switch as you can see from the diagram. Don't worry about the relay right now.
