2001 saturn heat does not come on right away takes a few minutes

The engine coolant needs to heat up before you will get hot air in car.Are you saying it take's longer then normal?

I don't have any air coming out of the heat or defrost for about five minutes after starting car. After the five minutes it's working fine. I use to get the cool air until the engine coolant warmed up

So the blower fan motor is inop sometimes?Is that on all blower speed's?DO you have a multimeter to do some testing?
