i have a 2001 saturn ls with 120,ooo miles and it is burning a quart of oil every 1,500 miles .is that normal

That's a little on the high side you can try some lucas oil stabilizer that will help slow the consumption down.If you live in a cold climate i would use the synthetic lucas it mixes with regular oil.If you live in a warmer climate i would use the regular lucas.I use it in my saturn and we used to sell it to the saturn customer's at the saturn dealer i worked at.Work's pretty good.
