I am considering purchasing a 2001 Saab 93. The carfax reports that it had 3 failed emissions tests since 2007. Should I be worried about engine problems?

if buying thru a dealer you should get at least 30 Fay warranty. Private sale, watch out.

covering the repair cost. did carfax tell you what parts were involved? emissions is pretty broad, and expensive. Ask the seller what was wrong.
