2001 Renault Clio Steering

I am looking at purchasing a Clio but after the test drive the steering felt weird like it was sticking slightly, and would not centre fully. It is only a cheap car but I was just making sure that I was nothing serious before making the purchase?

There could be a number of problems here, this should really be checked over first hand by a qualified mechanic, it may be a seized steering component of alignment problem, this is a bit hard to say with out inspecting first hand.
