My van started having problems a couple days ago. it started running funny and then stoped running completely. I have put in a new alternator and a new battery. But there is still no power unless boosted.

If you charge the battery will it start? Also do you have a multimeter to do some testing?

So when you put in the new battery and the alternator did it run at all?The first thing your going to have to do is have the battery charged. Also get a multimeter to do some testing.I suspect your alternator could have failed and blown a fuse or fusable link and isnt getting the power to the alternator for it to charge. But we have to do some testing and i need more details.
