My rear brakes locked up and the brake pedal will not move. I have no idea why. I just had my front brakes redone about a month ago but what do I do?

Have you removed the wheels to check for damage?

It takes a lot of pressure to move the rear rotor by hand. What I mean by the pedal not moving is I can barely press the pedal. It only moves about an inch or two. If I open the bleeder valve nothing changes. I can move the whole rotor slightly backwards but I can not move it forward at all.

My guess is the rubber brake hose to that caliper is bad inside and not allowing fluid to return. Loosen the brake hose to the caliper and see if the pressure is released. If it istill isn't, then the caliper is bad.

I cannot get the parking brake to release on the driver side rear. It is stuck in the engaged position. How do I get it to release?

I believe it is actually the cable housing leading to the parking brake. If I take a pliers I can pull it out and get it to go back to the unengaged position. Its like the cable isn't able to release.
