Doesn't start right away takes 10 or 20 seconds and black smoke when it starts is it the fuel injectors or a temp sensor. How much of a pain would it be to do on mine own if its the injectors?

check the fuel pressure regulator. remove the vacuum line and turn on the key and look for fuel leak
