i keep getting a petrol smell in the cab

It seems to happen when i coast to a stop or when i start my car and pull off to quick. i have had my back seats up and checked the petrol tank and around the pump and no fuel is leaking through there. i have searched the peugeot forums 10 times over and LOADS of people have had the same problem yet no one has come to a real conclusion. any help would be much appreciated, thank you. mike.

If there's no actual gas leak front and back-might want to have the evaporative emission control system check for leaks by doing a smoke test
