dash flickering from snow mode to sport mode

I have a Peugeot 206 automatic, every so often I get a light on dash flickering from snow mode to sport mode.could you please tell me what the problem is, and is it worth getting it repaired as the car is over 10 years old. Thanks

Proberbly a traction control problem, go get a scan done and report back any fault codes logged.
