My Northstar v8 has a weak mixture rear bank. It was missing on cyl 3; I replaced the ignition module and plugs. The miss is almost gone and no longer triggers a code. I have been told that I should replace the intake manifold gasket. Is this correct?

check yoru fuel pressure first it may be low causing the problem. it shold be 41-47 psi, if it si anywhere below that then it may be a bad pump.
