no speed on acceleration

My car is 2001 model nissan sunny. 1.6 engine. recently i noticed it is difficult to achieve speed even with full acceleration.It is not happening all the time. I cant judge the speed acheiving on acceleration. So i am facing difficulty in entering busy roundabout.
I have shown car to garriage. but they couldn't find anything worng. According to their advice i changed fuel filter. but still iam facing the problem.
kindly guide me what to do?

Check the following.

1. MAF sensor. Have it cleaned and retest.
2. Exhaust system. Check for clogging.
3. Get a scan done to see if any trouble codes are stored.

Were the spark plugs and related components checked?
