3 Weeks After Purchasing My 2001 Sentra the Service Engine Light came On And The Code Stated System Running Lean. Added Fuel Injector Cleaner And Premium Gas And Light Went Out. One Month Later Light Came On And Was Flashing.. Car Was Idling Rough And Thumping.. Took The Car To Local Mechanic Who Thought It Was Burned Out Piston.. But Came Back And Said The Head Gasket Was Cracked. He Sent Out The Head To Be Ground Down And Discovered Air Flow Sensor Was Shot. Replaced Air Flow Sensor And Returned The Car (after Waiting For The Warranty Company To Inspect Everything And Only Pay For Half Of The Work.) On The Day I Got The Car Back It Was (and Is Still) Idling Very Rough At Stop Signs Or Red Lights. It Does Not Acknowledge When You Depress The Gas Pedal But Will Accelerate 15 Seconds Later. Does Not Seem To Change Gears Properly. I Do Not Want To Bring It Back To This Mechanic And I Do Not Have 2 More Thousand To Figure Out What Is Going On?
