I have a nissan sentra 2001 with 170000km, 1, 8L. It is running 410km with full tank 50L (at station I put exactly 46L when gas indicator just started light, and put odometer on trip, illuminator lights at 410km all is city driving) which is very low MPG. The engine light was on and the scan said it was the O2 sensor which was replaced. Few days after that, the engine light illiminates again but I don't know the code but I assume it isn't o2 sensor since it was change with dealer part. I realize the problem become worst with fuel consumption. Note that tires pressure ok, overdrive off, no weight carried, automatic transmission and vehicle looses power sometimes in the morning or when stopped for longtime. Now it is even worse with 315 km(less than 200 mi) on full tank

As the engine check light has re activated we do need to know what the new code is, get it read and post it here and we will look into this problem, the new code is important for the diagnostics.

His is a lean system detected by the O2 sensor, check for a vacuum leak, or a MAF or MAP sensor, trouble is if one of the sensors are only a bit out in there readings they will not set a code for themselves, but combined with a small vac leak you will get this code up, so start with a vacuum leak check first, look around the throttle body and induction down stream of a air flow meter if fitted, start here.

May this leak cause increase in fuel consumption (low gas mileage)? Is there any device for the normal pressure? MAP sensor?

A vacuum leak is a common problem with engine management & economy problems, this should be checked first.
