This is due to the pressure in the system being low. We need to start with checking the pressure on the high and low side. Then pull it into a vacuum to make sure there are no leaks.

Once we know what the pressure is with the engine off and then with it on and A/C running we will have a better idea what the issue is.
However, I suspect the system will just need to be charged assuming it will hold a vacuum for about an hour. If it doesn't then there is a leak.

Lastly below you will find a chart that shows proper pressures based on temp. Also if the pressures are not just showing a low charge, this will show possible causes.
