When you first crank Nissan Maxima 01, it will blow hot air for 5-7 minutes. After that it will blow cold air from the on. The thermometer stays the same unless going uphill, then it acts starts to overheat. But it continually blows cold air. When you let off, it will cool back down. The top of the radiator is hot, the bottom is cold. The 2 thermostats has been replaced and the radiator. What else could be wrong?

Make sure none of the radiator hoses are collapsing. Check timing. Make sure there are no air blocks in the cooling system. Make sure the cooling fan motors are coming on.

As far as the heat, with the engine warm and the heater on, feel both heater core hoses. Both should be hot. If they are, check the blend door. If only one gets hot, flush the heater core.
