My car gives a wobbly noise soon after a cold start. The noise can be heard from the rear of the engine or underneath somewhere near the torque converter. After about 5 - 6 minutes the sound eventually disappears when the temperature rises and you wont hear the sound if you switch the engine on whilst still hot.
