Engine Running Hot

I replaced the valve cover gasket, spark plugs and wires. The engine is running hot.

Check the coolant level if okay-Try replacing the thermostat and see what happens -start here

The coolant level is normal. Do you think that the spark plugs gaps could cause the engine to run hot?
