2001 Nissan 180sx Engine Getting Very Hot Water Radiator Boils Time Stopped

the engine is getting very hot and the water in the radiator boils any time I stopped after some few miles running but overheating meter does not show that there is overheating.

Is the cooling fan coming on ? Check/Test the engine coolant temperature sensor
