I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS with the 3.0 liter engine. It had blown head gaskets and sat for about 5 years. Recently we changed all the gaskets (top end), timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, wires, fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator, oil (& filter), oxygen sensor, air filter, fuel and battery. The fuel lines were flushed with Seafoam. We started the engine and it ran for a couple minutes and turned it off. Then started and ran for 1 minute. The next time it started and flooded. There was fuel in the spark plugs. What could be the problem?
