Mass air flow sensor

I just replaced the spark plugs and wires on a 2001 mitz montero sport and now it keeps stalling. When the Mass air flow sensor is disconnected it won't stall, but will run rough. When the sensor is connected it will stall instantly. Do I need a new sensor?

If its not stalling before you replaced the plugs and wires -could be the wrong type of plug and also not gapped properly
