Hi,
I have been having trouble with my 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer (CE). It recently would not start so i took it to my mechanic as the NRMA thought it was broken fuel pump. It was discovered that there was a immobiliser fault. I passed my car on to the Mitsubishi deelership where i have been told that the immobilisers had sent a spark to my engine computer module and fried it. I was told to fix the problem it may cost over $3000 as i have to replace the module and the immobiliser system. I am wondering if you could get a second hand computer module for my car or do i need to purchase a new module?
