if the valves are replaced do you need a heavier weight oil for the lifters to prime

timing belt broke,we replaced timing belt and damaged valves,cam sensor,and now the lifters are chattering loud,do we need to use a heavy weight oil for the lifters to pick up oil abd not rattle
