So my belt slipped off yesterday and I drove about 20 miles without power steering and the check oil and battery lights came on. I replaced the belt this morning but the lights will not turn off? I just need some clarification on this thank you.

Check the wiring to see if any had been damaged by the belt slipping off or breaking.
Have the alternator tested to see if had been damaged as well.

I had found out that it was just my alternator belt. It had lost elsticisity when I had my other belt popped out. And it just isn't causing the pulley to rotate at a better speed
