so, they dont make a muffler bearing for 01 eclipse?

Not that I am aware of. However, new, high performance exhausts do have bearings and bushings for servos that control flapper valves to change backpressure while driving. That's why I said "back in the day" the joke is no longer valid because muffler bearings do exist.
